The following extracts are from recent correspondence we have received from clients:

letters of appreciation
letters of appreciation

I am writing to inform you that I have received a cheque... Also to say how grateful my wife and I are for all your hard work and for giving us the information to visit the grave and to meet those involved in looking after [the Deceased].
Mr McBride (Beneficiary), Fareham. 8 February 2010

Thank you for your assistance in this case. Your advice and prompt attention was greatly appreciated.
Mr Peck (Beneficiary), Port Macquarie, NSW Australia. 4 January 2010

Thank you so very much for all the work done in finding my cousins in Australia; we have made contact.
Mrs May (Beneficiary), Gravesend. 30 December 2009

My brother and I wish to thank you for your letters, interesting reading about our family; it took us back...
Mrs Silvester (Beneficiary), Hove. 28 December 2009

I would like to say thank you for all the hard work that you did for us. We were very excited.
Mrs Hancock (Beneficiary), Cornwall. 10 December 2009

Thank you very much for the cheque... received last week. My father never knew his cousin and it is rather sad that he died with no family around, I will try to find out where he is buried and we will take my father there to put some flowers down.
A.M. (Beneficiary), Kingston upon Thames. 25 November 2009

May I thank everyone at your office for the work put into the estate... The monies from this have come very useful at this time.
Mr Cookson (Beneficiary), Lytham St Annes. 18 November 2009

I have recently received my final payment... I just want to thank you for your part in finding all the people involved. I know it took a lot of work contacting all the right people so from me please thank everyone involved.
M.D. (Beneficiary), Ashington. 18 November 2009

Please accept my thanks for your efforts in tracking down both myself anf my brother [...]. I know that he is as grateful as I am for your help in this matter... I would be more than happy to provide a testimonial or reference in the future.
G.C. (Beneficiary), Gateshead. 17 November 2009

Thank you for your letter... together with cheque and enclosures... It was a pleasure to meet Ewart when he came to interview me last year.
Mrs Jefferies (Beneficiary), Stafford. 16 November 2009

Thank you very much for the enclosed family tree; I did not realise I had so many relatives!... Thank you so much for your assistance in this matter.
Mr French (Beneficiary), Buckinghamshire. 14 November 2009

I must say how sorry I am at my reticence when Mr. Ewart Lindsay first telephoned and wanted to call and see us... Having watched the excellent series "Heir Hunters" on BBC television, I now have some understanding of the intensity of your research and regret the initial hesitation on my part. Thank you for all your efforts on my behalf.
Mr Goddard (Beneficiary), Buckinghamshire. 10 November 2009

Please find ackowledgment of the sum... It was strange to see that I was part, however small, of a programme that I watch on a regular basis. I wish I had been in when you called... Anyway thanks again for the experience.
Mrs Goddard (Beneficiary), Northolt. 7 November 2009

Your letter dated was extremely helpful to us and we would wish to take this opportunity of thanking you for all your assistance in this matter… We do not anticipate that any further information will be needed.
Harold Stock & Co. Solicitors, Tameside. 5 October 2009

I would like to thank you and your team of researchers for the information... and for your advice...
Mrs Weyers (Beneficiary), Callington. 25 August 2009

I do enjoy watching your programnme on BBC1 "Heir Hunters" - I find it fascinating...The one thing that really annoys me are the people who, after YOU putting in hours of work to find them say "We'll do it ourselves", especially those who didn't even know they had that relative!...
Mrs Pullin (Beneficiary), Bristol. 25 August 2009

Thank you, your colleagues and organisation for your work resulting in the totally unexpected good fortune for me and my fellow legatees.
Mr Currie (Beneficiary), Plymouth. 22 August 2009

It certainly was a wonderful surprise and completely out of the blue. I had heard of my mother's cousin but I suppose being that much older than I was and with the war on I was evacuated along with my borther and sister, and we lost touch...

Long may you continue to give others the joy and surprise you have given to my sister, borther and myself.
Mrs Clare (Beneficiary), Stockport. 14 August 2009

I wish to thank you and all your team for all the work you have put in, to arrive at the settlement... I think I met [the Deceased] when I was a child but I didn't really know her, and to receive this bounty from her estate is really wonderful.
Mrs Boorman (Beneficiary), Barking. 6 August 2009

Today is the second anniversary of [the Deceased] passing away. If it had not been for Fraser & Fraser, I would not have known... Thank you is such a small word but I will be eternally grateful to you and the team for their dignified approach to this sad event.
Mrs Bell (Beneficiary), Hebburn. 5 August 2009

We write to you... to thank you for the careful and detailed way the estate of [the Deceased] was handled for us all.

We have all been watching with interest the BBC programme about your good selves and others in "Heir Hunters". We frequently note that many heirs are pleased to find relatives and details. All of us have over the last few years drifted apart mainly due to our busy lives. However this episode has brought us into contact once again and this year we have spent a holiday together in spring... Once again thank you all for the work that you have done on behalf of us all.
C.B. (Beneficiary), Brentwood. 1 August 2009

Just wanted to say thank you for finding me. I was really surprised at the amount of my inheritance, I was expecting much less...
Mrs Vernerey (Beneficiary), Vernon, Canada. 1 August 2009

Thank you very much for getting in touch with my sister and myself about our Uncle... It has been a great surprise.
Mrs Duncan (Beneficiary), Bridgwater. 30 July 2009

Thank you for the professional and efficient manner with which you have dealt with this matter which has been greatly appreciated.
Abbie Short (Solicitor), Samuels Solicitors, Barnstaple. 17 July 2009

I would like to thank you very much for all your work in bringing this case to a successful outcome. Previous to the contact you initiated with myself, I had no idea of the distant relative you noticed to die intestate. I am particularly pleased on behalf of my niece [...] who I am sure was in greater need of this inheritance than I was. Thank you again for your diligence.
Mrs Comaish (Beneficiary), Maidenhead. 22 May 2009

I have now received the cheque [...] and would like to thank you most warmly for all the hard work that it must have involved.

I am sure, to you, this is a fairly common occurrence but to me it is like something out of a book - an unknown relative leaving a bequest! My husband and daughter will receive a share - my first purchase for myself will be an electric scooter. They are nearly £2,000 but it will be lovely to be mobile again and not struggle with a Zimmer frame.
MM (Beneficiary), London. 20 May 2009

It was just today we happened to see your programme on TV while having a cup of tea, and it reminded me of you all, how helpful you were and that I had not sent you a thank you note... It has all been a shock and yet an exciting time and for such a large amount, I am very grateful that Fraser & Fraser found us - as you see on TV, it takes a lot of hard work.
Mrs Grimes (Beneficiary), Polegate. 17 April 2009

Thank you, thank you so much for the family tree you sent me. It has helped greatly to fill many gaps. How many cousins I never knew I had, great! I will be contacting them with good results, I hope. Also, thank you for the information as to where Edward's remains lay. We plan to place a plaque.
Mrs Harris (Beneficiary), Dagenham. 30 March 2009

I was delighted with the outcome; also my sister [...] wishes to be associated with these sentiments. I also noticed that you were subject to some "adverse" comments and reaction. My sister and I do not share this or any other comments, we are simply grateful to your company and our unfortunate benefactor.
Mr Geering (Beneficiary), Wigan. 26 February 2009

Thank you very much for your excellent service, your courtesy, organisation and efficiency... You have done a wonderful job & I really feel blessed that you were able to trace me on the other side of the world!
Mr Roberts (Beneficiary), Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. 9 February 2009

Well... I'm in a mesmeric mode! Once again, many thanks for the "conversations" and the family tree. Who are all those people!
Mr Durham (Beneficiary), Gloucestershire. 15 January 2009

Thank you very much indeed… The RNLI is most grateful to you for successfully tracing the Marriage Certificate for this lady, as am I.
Peter G Jeffreys (Solicitor), Wilsons Solicitors, Salisbury. 29 December 2008

We are extremely grateful for your efforts in this particular matter which were absolutely first class. We would not hesitate to recommend you to our colleagues locally if they need any help or assistance in tracing beneficiaries in the future.
Gary M Pick (Solicitor), Dickinson Manser Solicitors, Poole. 10 December 2008

Thank you for all your work in this matter. It came at a very convenient time.
Mrs Norris (Beneficiary), Bromley. November 2008

Thank you for your efforts in tracing me and for the cheque. Obviously I am disappointed in the amount, as indeed you must be, as it would not cover your expenses. However, it was interesting to have found a branch of the family which I didn't know existed.
Mr Doerfler (Beneficiary), Leeds. 21 September 2008

It was a pleasure filming with you and your staff... We couldn't have made the programme without your valuable contribution, and we hope that the programme will raise awareness in the importance of writing a Will properly. The programme will be broadcast on Friday 26th September [2008] at 8.00pm on ITV1...
Lisa Keane (Producer, Tonight programme, ITV Productions), London. 18 September 2008

Just to say how much we have enjoyed watching "Heir Hunters", my husband records it each day to watch later. It was intersting to see all the research you all do and I thank you so much for contacting me... But the people who decide to make their own claim are despicable after all Fraser's have done for on their behalf, just utter greed.
Mrs Pooley (Beneficiary), Holsworthy. July 2008

We cannot thank you and your colleagues enough for hunting down me and my sister. [The money] to each of us in 2004 right out of the blue. What a surprise and really in a way poetic justice.
Mr Brock (Beneficiary), Sussex. 10 July 2008

We have been watching the very interesting programme on BBC1 [Heir Hunters] all this week. We can see how hard you have to work, especially on a Thursday morning! You certainly bring a lot of pleasure to your claimants and may you continue to do so.
Mrs Bacon (Beneficiary), Hertfordshire. 5 July 2008

Thank you so much for passing on my letter to my uncle... My aunt has now been in touch. [He] has been in hospital recently, but as soon as he feels fit enough, we shall meet up. I am delighted and cannot thank you enough.
May 2008

... Since writing the card... I have visited my aunt and uncle, as well as now being in regular contact. They have provided me with a lot of photographs of my early life... I also found out that I now have four new cousins, which was quite a surprise!

It never really occurred to me before how many people were affected by the family split and that their lives would have never been the same; I had only ever looked at the situation from my own perspective. Whatever the financial outcome of the matter, it will never give me the sense of joy that I have in finding my mother's family.
Mrs Smallwood (Beneficiary), Droitwich Spa. 12 June 2008

I am pleased to confirm receipt of your cheque... and to express my thanks ... for Fraser & Fraser's diligence.

How strange to receive a legacy from someone I never knew!
Mr Hastie (Beneficiary), Chichester. 28 April 2008

I would like to thank you for your work, not just for the money but also the opportunity to be reacquainted with family not seen for many years. Together with this is the knowledge of those... of whom I knew nothing.
Mrs B. (Beneficiary), Sheffield. 20 April 2008

Thank you for your very helpful participation over the span of many years sorting this estate out.
Mrs Allard (Beneficiary), Tunbridge Wells. 13 February 2008

As the estate is just about finalised, I would like to thank you for all the hours of hard work and determination that made our particular case "all happen"...

I am sure many other beneficiaries in the years to come who will benefit from an "out of the blue" phone call will also appreciate the truly professional manner in which everything was carried out.
Mrs H. (Beneficiary), Australia. January 2008

Thanks to all the "Heir Hunting" you and your team did on behalf of myself and my very many relations... It is unbelievable that you were able to trace 93 of us, and I appreciate all the work you put into the task. They had certainly spread far and wide in UK and Europe.
Mrs G. (Beneficiary), Buckinghamshire. 11 November 2007

Thank you for all you have achieved over these past years on our behalf. It has been a most interesting experience ... and my cousin Roderick in New York has been able to find out a little about [the Deceased]. Needless to say, I am more than grateful to recieve such a generous inheritance.
Mrs Campbell (Beneficiary), Clackmannanshire. 5 November 2007

Both myself and my twin brother appreciate the time and effort and research in regard to [the estate] and the on - going drama associated with it. Once again thank you for seeking us out and informing us of the estate.
Mrs Fauchon (Beneficiary), New South Wales, Australia. 20 October 2007

On 28th September 2007, I received a cheque ... which was my share of the distribution of the estate. I would like to thank you very much for making this possible, and for the detailed information compiled from your research. I am most grateful to you all, if only I could thank G...
Mrs Baguley (Beneficiary), Kettlestone. 1 October 2007

Thank you for your letter... enclosing my brother's death certificate together with such information as was available at the time. Such courtesy and consideration are quite rare in this day and age.
Mr Connelly (Beneficiary), Clacton-on-Sea. 9 August 2007

It is nice to know that in this modern world there are still some honest business people about... Thank you for your honesty, and again thank you for all your help in sorting everything out regarding my late cousin's estate. Without your help, information regarding my late cousin would not have been known.
Mr Savage (Beneficiary), Great Yarmouth. 2 July 2007

Thank you very much for, in the first place finding me, and for being at the end of the phone when I needed an answer. The lump sum has come in very useful at this time. Thank you also for sending copies of birth certificates.
Mrs McDonnell (Beneficiary), Tadworth. 14 March 2007

Now that everything has been sorted out I would like to thank you for all the work you have put in. When you first phoned up I was sceptical as to your motives but after a few minutes became more convinced that you were genuine. It has proved to be a very interesting experience and I have learnt a great deal about members of my family.
Mr Grey (Beneficiary), Stoke on Trent.  10 February 2007

As you are aware I have recently received my share of the above estate, but I should like to take this opportunity to thank you for sending an outline copy of my family tree, which was most interesting, and also for keeping me so well informed on everything relating to the matter. Again many thanks for your communications.
Mrs Barnes (Beneficiary), Waddington.  24 September 2006

I confirm on behalf of my mother the receipt of a cheque in respect of her share of the assets of the above estate. Thank you for your professional services in supplying information to us.
Mrs McDermid (Beneficiary) Kilmacolm. 2 September 2006

I have now received my legacy from the estate of ….. Needless to say I would have remained completely unaware of my relationship with the deceased without your meticulous research, and I am most grateful. Many thanks also for the information on my background of which I was unaware.
Mr McAllister (Beneficiary), Bury St Edmunds. 6 September 2006

I am most grateful for your assistance and will not hesitate to instruct you again, should the need arise. This case was quite unique. I had approached several firms of Probate Genealogists over the years, none of which would take it on. I found Mr Grosvenor to be extremely helpful and I could hardly believe the speed of the response with a successful trace.
Diana Brough (Solicitor), Hartlepool. 27 June 2006

I write with reference to the above estate and so confirm that my husband, Robert Birkett, has received a cheque from the solicitors in this regard. We would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation of your effort on his behalf.
On behalf of Mr Birkett (Beneficiary), Tadworth. 30 May 2006.

Many thanks for the work you carried our on behalf of the Estate. I will certainly choose your company again in the future.
Jacqueline D’Hazzard (Englehards Solicitors), Elstree.
3 May 2006

...Thank you again for the great courtesy you have shown my brother, sister and myself
Mr Arnold (Beneficiary), Warkworth, New Zealand. 7th March 2006

I had never had any dealings whatsoever with genealogist and probate researchers and was a little dubious when first contacted and did even contact our solicitor for advice before replying to yourselves…

.Thank you for your kind and prompt attention in this matter. I have found the work that you and your Company offer is fascinating, and you are most certainly extremely efficient and professional.
Mrs Foster (Beneficiary), Warrington. 26 January & 17th February 2006

Thank you very much for your letter of 20th December with enclosures… We are delighted with the information provided… Thank you once again for your assistance in this matter.
Chrisharrisonlaw (Solicitors), Truro. 4th January 2006

Thank you for your letter dated 22nd instant together with the final cheque from this estate. I wish to thank you and all your colleagues for your assistance in this matter.
Mr Boyd-Stevenson (Beneficiary), East Sussex.
29 December 2005

I am writing to let you know that I have received a cheque from the solicitors … also included a copy of the accounts of the administration of the estate. My cheque arrived on Christmas eve; now that is a very nice Christmas present & I wish to thank you for locating me in the first place & acting on my behalf. Happy New Year to you.
Mr Parker (Beneficiary), Bristol. 26 December 2005

Today Wednesday November 23rd we have received a cheque representing the sum of money due to my father. May I take this opportunity on behalf of my father and myself in thanking you for all the hard work that has gone into the research that your company has undertaken over the past months to prove my father’s claim to this inheritance.

In a subsequent letter on  the 1st December, the same client said “Again I thank you and the Gentleman that initially visited us regarding this Estate for the professional way everything was carried out from the beginning to the outcome, keeping us fully informed all along the way. As I have mentioned to you at the very beginning if it wasn’t for your getting in contact with us back in 2004 we would not have been aware of this inheritance….  Again I thank you and your staff for all the hard work that has gone into this search to prove my father’s claims to this inheritance.”
Mrs Bennett (Beneficiary), Bath. 23 November & 1 December 2005

Sorry I have not written before, but I do not write many letters these days. I just want to thank you for everything you have done for me. Also the friendly and discreet way you handle everything and your very cheerful and pleasant manner on the phone. Could you also thank the lady who used to answer the phone when I rang, she was also very nice and helpful. I will wish you a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.
Mrs Kelford (Beneficiary), Bristol. 27 November 2005

I thank your firm and you for your efficient assistance in this matter.
Gowlings (Gowling, Seddon, Taylor & Copper) Solicitors, Preston. 26 October 2005

Thank you and all at Fraser/Fraser for your work. I received my cheque today. Regards
Mrs Mangan (Beneficiary), Cork, Ireland. 21 November 2005

I was absolutely delighted to receive the Family Tree recently, together with later additions, all in such great detail.

I have always tried to extend my Family Tree, little did I ever realise that I would one day own a copy such as the one you have produced.

I shall treasure this for the rest of my life, as will my family,  I am sure, for generations to come.
Mr Parker (Beneficiary), Horley, Surrey. 14 November 2005

I am happy to say that money has flowed. Thanks to you and your staff for your always prompt and considerate responses to my questions.
Mr Capon (Beneficiary), Crafers, Australia, 16 September 2005

Just a thank you for the cheque and the family tree which was so interesting. I didn’t know I had so many relatives. Thank you for all your help and advice.
Beneficiary, Hull, 12 September 2005

Many thanks for your letter of 3rd August. I believe that you adopted what would appear to be an excellent manner of determining the location of Mr…... Thank you again for your assistance.
Solicitor, Geneva, Switzerland, 12 August 2005

Just a note from myself and family circle to thank you for all your help and understanding with the “American money”. My mother and I are glad it is all over, as I am sure so are you. I have suggested to relations that we donate a little of it to the London bombing appeal. They think this is a good idea. We all remain grateful to you and your colleagues.
Beneficiary, Ballycastle, 18 July 2005

I hope you will be able to pass on the enclosed letter to my relatives for me. I am extremely grateful to you for making our lives a lot happier. Again thank you very much.
Beneficiary, Dunstable, 5th July 2005

Many thanks for your letter of 23rd June together with its various enclosures. I am delighted to read of your success….. I will write to you again in due course.
Solicitor, Plymouth, 5th July 2005

… Can we also thank you for your positive attitude during this period of turmoil and we look forward to your results when we can begin to progress the estate.
Solicitor, Cleveland, 1 July 2005

I thank you for your letter of the 3rd June setting out the details and results of your research to date which is obviously a little disappointing but frankly not unexpected. I have to say that I am very impressed by the information you have obtained which clearly indicates you have sophisticated access to various records……I am grateful for your assistance thus far.
Solicitor, Scarborough, 7 June 2005

…. The real point of writing, however, is to thank you and Robert Smith (who made the first contact) and Fraser & Fraser in general for the tactful and professional manner with which you have dealt with the case. Until Robert Smith rang my doorbell, I simply had no idea that my Mother (who died when I was 4 years of age) had any brothers or sisters. That she did raises a number of questions, the answers to which are probably not to be found after all these years.

The money is, of course, most welcome. More valuable in many ways are the family tree and documentation which gives me back some of my history.
Beneficiary, Buckinghamshire, 25 May 2005

Thank you for your letter of 16th May 2005. Once I have received a receipt for the inheritance due, I will be arranging to close down my file of papers and would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for your kind assistance in respect of the above matter.
S
olicitor, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, 20 May 2005

I take this opportunity to thank you all for your past help and letters etc. regarding our forthcoming family inheritance. Do please excuse my writing, as I am now 89 years old and my writing is not so good as it was. My thanks again to you all.
Beneficiary, West Midlands, 19 May 2005

Many thanks for your letter of 26 April. I very much appreciate your assistance in the matter and the speed with which the search was conducted.

Once again, many thanks and I look forward to the opportunity of working with you again.
Solicitor, London, 4 May 2005

I am writing to thank you for sending me the final distribution of £14,857….. I would like to thank you for dealing with my interests in this estate so efficiently over the past year.
Beneficiary MBE, MA Oxon, FRGS, Oxfordshire, 28 April 2005

Many thank for your letter enclosing the family tree of our family which is quite a revelation to me. The final outcome of the case bears testament to a great deal of patience & persistence on your part.
Beneficiary, Inverness, 11 April 2005

Many thanks for the surprise, but very welcome, cheque in settlement of the Estate. You and your staff have worked most patiently and with persistence to achieve this outcome.
Beneficiary from Nairn, 21 March 2005

We would like to thank your company personnel with the help they have given in uniting our family for the first time in forty years. As all parties are very happy with the outcome.
Beneficiaries, St Neots, 18 March 2005

Thank you for your perseverance in successfully concluding this particular journey of discovery which for me started with your letter of 7 May 1996. While there have been numerous obstacles along the way, I am very happy with the outcome. (Received by email)
Beneficiary, RAAF, (Ret'd). UK, 6 March 2005

“I am pleased to advise that [the beneficiary we were looking for] has responded to my letter and supplied me with all the identification that I require.

May I take this opportunity to thank you for your work in this matter. I would have no hesitation in recommending your services to my colleagues.”
Solicitor. Sheffield (UK), 1 March 2005

“Thank you for the cheque which I received today. It has certainly taken a very long time for it all to be settled and I thank you for all the work you have done. Thank you again”
Beneficiary. Cambridge (UK), 25 February 2005

"The administrative solicitors tell me that my responsibilities in respect of this estate are now at an end.

May I take this opportunity to thank you for your involvement from the autumn of 2003 up until recently, for your searches for the beneficiaries and for telling me of the solicitors I might use to help me in the administration of the estate.

I feel all my cousins will join me in thanking you for your part in the satisfactory conclusion of this undertaking."
Administrator and beneficiary. Dorset (UK), 24 February 2005

”I write in connection with the Estate of …. And confirm that I have now received a cheque from the administrative solicitors representing my share of the capital and the income of the Estate.

When you first contacted me in April 2003, the matter came as a complete surprise – never having been involved in this type of experience before.

The whole episode has been quite fascinating – and in the end rewarding too – at the same time uncovering a great detail of the various stems of many descendants which my close relatives interested in Genealogy will be able to add to their own research. Thank you for brining this matter to my attention and for all the work that the enquiry has involved – which is much appreciated.”
Beneficiary in York (UK), 18 February 2005

“I would just like to say a big thank you for your help. I have written to you two days ago regarding the same. Once again many thanks” (received by email)
Beneficiary (UK), 16 February 2005

Thank you very much for the cheque, it was a lovely surprise & a good start for the New Year.

Would you please thank the case manager for me, for all his hard work on behalf of myself. He has been a pleasure to talk to, and very helpful in lots of ways.

At the moment I am not sure what I am going to do with the money, but I will have a holiday with my husband in the summer.
Well, thank you once again.
Beneficiary Middlesex (UK), 29 January 2005

“Thank you for your letter…. We are very pleased with the outcome of your research. I have written to [the beneficiaries] and will hopefully bring matters to a conclusion.

Thank you once again for your valuable assistance in this long running matter. It does now look like we may be nearing an end to the enquiries, but I will not count my chickens just yet."
Trust Officer - Official Solicitor and Public Trustee, 5 January 2005

With the administration of the estate now largely complete, I write on behalf of my sister and myself to thank both you and your company for your help in bringing about the results from which we are now benefiting.

Obviously, the genealogical research undertaken has been rewarding for your company as well as ourselves but we were, clearly, unaware of any link between ourselves and the deceased and remain amazed that it has been possible to bring it to light so long after the death of both our grandmother and our dear mother.

We have been in fairly close touch with the administrator and are delighted to learn of the existence of himself and our other new-found relatives and look forward to renewing the lost family link in the New Year.

Thank you again for all your efforts which, out of the blue, have brought about such a happy conclusion.
Beneficiary, Norfolk (UK), 27th December 2004

”I am amazed and absolutely delighted at the number of certificates and the family trees which I have just received.

I may have told you in earlier letters that I have been researching my family tree on and off for 30 years now, grilling relatives and buying certificates (I bought my first ones from Somerset House when they cost one shilling each!) but the number that I have, or the family tree which I have been able to compile pales into insignificance compared with the ones you have just sent me. I am still reeling from the wonderful surprise. It is a pity that you were not present to see my astonishment and delight when they arrived.

On the telephone I joked that the family tree would be a very welcome Christmas present, little did I realise then just how marvellous a Christmas present it would be.

Very many thanks and may I wish you a very enjoyable Christmas and a happy and healthy 2005.”
Administrator of the Estate in Surrey (UK), 20th December 2004

“I take this opportunity to thank you for the very professional manner in which you have conducted research and have always answered my telephone enquiries with the uppermost courtesy and expert knowledge. The distribution has arrived at a most appropriate time!”
Beneficiary in Cheshire (UK), 19th December 2004
